Great River City Light Rail (GRCLR) aims to consistently deliver safe, reliable and customer focused services for customers on the Parramatta Light Rail network.
Great River City Light Rail is creating a world-class light rail network that will transform Parramatta into Australia’s next great city, providing a new public transport option for commuters travelling around Greater Parramatta.
To deliver this project, contractors working on the Parramatta Light Rail project must register and maintain their compliance in the online Great River City Light Rail Compliance Management System.
The system is managed on behalf of Great River City Light Rail by Avetta.
HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?
Contractors will register both their business and workers in the Great River City Light Rail Compliance Management System.
The process is completed in an online portal by an administrator representing your business. We divide it into two stages to make it as simple as possible: 1. business registration, and 2. worker registration. The entire process is detailed on the How to Register page, and is outlined below:
Registering your business
Beginning in the Company Pre-Qualification portal of the Great River City Light Rail Compliance Management System, you will answer questions about the type, scope and frequency of work your business does on the Parramatta Light Rail project. Your answers will determine which documents needed to get you compliant. You will upload those documents for safety specialists to verify, and then you can get your workers registered.
Registering your workers
You will be sent login details to the Worker Roles Portal of the Great River City Light Rail Compliance Management System, where you will create profiles for your employees. You will select the role/s they perform on site, upload their qualifications and competencies (licences, tickets), and book online inductions which they complete before attending the Parramatta Light Rail project. This information is also verified by safety specialists. Compliant and inducted workers are issued with access ID cards linked to their online profile – their passport to work on the Parramatta Light Rail project.
Registering your plant and assets
All plant and assets used on the Parramatta Light Rail project must be fit for use and compliant to Work Health and Safety regulations. To ensure this, plant and assets are to be registered in the Great River City Light Rail Compliance Management System. Upon login, you will click the Manage Assets tile and proceed through the steps to register your plant or asset. Click to read more.
